Benahavís is crouching on a meander of Guadalmina, in the valley of this river, surrounded by mountains that descend from the Serrania shreds by The Apretaderas, Sierra Palmitera and Sierra Bermeja. Formations that separate the three main rivers of the municipality: Guadalmansa, Guadalmina and Guadaiza, as many valleys that contain landscapes of great beauty.

The second of the valley, the river Guadalmina, low parallel to the anterior from the mountains that separate it from Alto Genal adding to the landscape forested areas of pine and cork trees, especially in the places of the Almageles, the Cañada de la Higuera and, However, in the Coto de la Zagaleta, which has recently built a golf course.
